beyond simple attention hacks, i haven’t really investigated my own productivity limits and patterns i have only a vague understanding of the conditions (time of day, length of work sessions, focusing techniques, pre-work rituals, etc.) in which i produce my best work

- late night sessions tend to be more cohesive, focused, and “deep” - minimize social distractions (this was much harder when i was in school) - self-imposed deadlines are generally ineffective - i suspect i can do more than 4 hours in the zone if i’m properly motivated
