i don’t have strong feelings about what should happen to my body after i die
but if not religion, where do these convictions come from? do you know what you want to happen to your body? how important is it to you, and why? what are the considerations at play here?

reply guying to an old tweet but I finished a relevant book to this recently. Maybe these ideas come from the degree to which we fear/ are repulsed by death? I learned that NA's funeral industry is also bureaucratic & how we deal with our dead is not intimate vs other cultures
