i’ve joked that i might throw a dinner party where my friends and loved ones eat my recently deceased, fully consenting flesh it’s a bad joke, and when i’ve brought up the idea most people (justifiably?) react with disgust

growing up, i don’t remember receiving much moral guidance on burial vs. cremation vs. other options, so these decisions feel kind of arbitrary to me otoh it seems like most people have powerful convictions about dead bodies (even people who aren’t religious)
