1. I tried the NEDERA process from the Bio-Emotive Framework a couple of times. As someone with a 146 score on the Alexithymia questionnaire, I am aware that it would be more difficult for me as there's a huge barrier between my emotional and intellectual brain.

seems worth experimenting with, esp. to access blocks in a way that might make future sessions easier. drunk crying is a thing for a reason

Maybe just make sure you have someone there to write down whatever shit you say so that you can review & integrate it later. Coherence Therapy folks note that even without drugs, doing this emotional work puts people into altered states & they can easily forget it all later.

My personal take (not canon) is that substances are an excellent tool for facilitating sobbing :) Most common for me is cannabis but it's def not for everyone Almost anything that lubes up the heart is good But as with any tool, they are best employed intentionaly&skillfuly
-
The best substances for this kind of thing in my experience are entactogens, psychedelics and dissociatives (Part of what I love about cannabis is that to an extent, it can act like all 3, & is more accessible) In the right context they can greatly improve ones sobbing game

So coherence therapy (from this book
) has a sentence stem completion exercise, and I found it WAY easier while drunk. But keeping my train of thought/feel is much harder, so having other people present to keep me focused is really helpful.https://twitter.com/QiaochuYuan/status/1184593629840642048 …
