Not a knock on meditation at all, it’s mostly about the intention behind it. Generally I’m a more motivated, confident, charitable person when I’m practicing regularly. But think I’m gonna stop using it in crisis mode, maybe try to magnify the feelings instead...

This resonates with me so much. I also very recently realized that I had been using meditation to always feel good/ neutral. So whenever negative feelings came up, I tried to use vipassana etc. to just focus on something else and feel okay.
