By @AkshaySyal, who apparently is both a reporter and a medical student. I feel low-capacity right now!

I second that! There are patients like me that rely on hydroxychloroquine daily, and we’ve been struggling with shortages for months.https://twitter.com/babs_zone/status/1287924335865298946?s=21 …

I hope you’ll consider sharing my video, so hopefully more folks can understand that these untouched stockpiles and off-label scripts really do effect others!

What’s interesting is that at least one of the in vitro studies that found hydroxychloroquine effective also found chlorpromazine (Thorazine) effective. High dose Thorazine might have actually done Trump & his acolytes some good.

I report all tweets that I see pushing hydroychloroquine as abusive and offensive and encouraging others to self harm and suicide.

A nurse just told me that for years HCQ was routinely used for patients on ventilators as a safer alternative to steroids. At first they used it for COVID patients but it was soon banned. Comments?

I suspect she is confusing hydrocortisone with HCQ. In 35 years of working in ICU's I have never given HCQ (except to the very rare pt who was already on it for rheumatoid arthritis).
