My plan is to wait for a new keyboard to be announced, seeing if it feels good, then waiting a year. My fear is that they don’t understand the cause and are merely obsessed with the effect

Also having an early 2013 Retina MBP. Don't want to buy a new one as I'm no big fan of the keyboard (colleague has one) and am afraid to have problems.

I’m in exactly the same boat. IT keeps trying to “upgrade” my machine, but I refuse until we see a new unibody enclosure with fixed keyboard.

Honestly Craig I think this has reached a point where people at the vp on Jony Ive hardware design team need to get canned will they 250% chance of hell no . Also live a month with keyboard outside of pristine level 5clean room of Jony Ive labs
