    If you're having problems with App Store uploads, it's time to manually clean a cache and quit/restart Xcode. Fixed the issue for us.

    Yup. I blew away all my profiles in ~Library/Mobile Device and let Xcode re-download them and now all is well again it seems.

    Anyone else seeing App Store Connect errors about "Invalid Provisioning Profile Signature"? Happening on new builds with no code signing changes. Also seeing same error with validate on older builds that were submitted successfully. /cc

    A call to url.checkResourceIsReachable() returns the same error. No idea what's going on here. Yay iCloud.

    A metadata query is returning an item whose url.checkPromisedItemIsReachable() returns "The file XXXX couldn't be opened because there is no such file." I don't know if the file system or the metadata query is wrong, and it appears that there's no way to know.

    Is there any way to get the contents of an app's iCloud container on a device? Something weird happened at url(forUbiquityContainerIdentifier:) and I want to see what files are (and are not) there. Things aren't syncing so looking in Files or iCloud Drive doesn't help.

    It's not obvious, but if you're working with a WKWebView in the iOS Simulator, you can get at it with the Develop menu in Safari. You can examine and modify the DOM with the inspector in the browser. Like Xcode's view inspector, it's essential when a layout is wrong.

    I've been using Preview for 20 odd years and never noticed this in the Tools menu. Great tip.

    🔍 Today, after a decade of using MacOS, I learned that Preview has a built-in zoom lens. Hitting the backtick on the keyboard toggles it.

    Some answers in this thread from when I asked :)

    I was about to recommend someone run a quick and dirty web server for previewing work via `python -m SimpleHTTPServer`. But with macOS 12.3 I can't do this anymore since python is no more 😞. What's the best way to tell someone non-techie to run a short-lived web server now?

    With Python disappearing in macOS 12.3, is there a _simple_ replacement for `python -m SimpleHTTPServer`? I need a way to show a designer some stuff without them having to setup a web server (e.g. NO homebrew).

    Here’s a key point that Apple didn’t make clear in today’s WWDC 22 announcement: Is the keynote going to be in front of a live audience? If not, ask anyone who’s watched a keynote video feed in an overflow room what that’s like. A totally different, and lesser, experience.
