Several people have mentioned the block/unblock method, which will force the reply guy to unfollow you! It's not mentioned in the story so sharing here. I just used it!!!!!!!!!! Love being online

I always thought Facebook was for friends, and that Twitter was a platform that catered more to building a public "following". I don't get why Twitter is so popular when so many people seem to hate it for the very thing that separates it from other platforms.

I have never once in my life witnessed a reply guy manage to successfully improve upon a woman's joke and I've seen A LOT of them try

I don't try to be funny any more since I discovered the hard way that taking on the persona of a clueless guy is, in practice, indistinguishable from actually being the clueless guy and can cause the same harm. I save that sort of humor for people I know well.
