    This game is also one where I can only play maybe one level at a time before I need to take a break. The levels are SO long and the combat requires so much focus.

    Enjoying my time with Doom Eternal but I'm still baffled by the cutscene where Doom Guy bows to a ghost king. Did the previous game establish Doom Guy as part of the... Sentinels or whatever they're called and I just forgot?

    Episode 9 of our FFVII Remake let's play is live! I'm a big fan of this section of the game and I think it's underappreciated. It's got a lot of little character moments in it and some fun combat encounters. Also Stamp.

    I imagine IX would benefit from the same treatment VII Remake got wrt its characters. Extra time to flesh them out would be nice. Some of the main cast stop being important/stop contributing to the story after a certain point, like Freya. Or Armarant, who doesn't matter at all!

    If there's any other Final Fantasy I would want a remake of, it'd be IX. Not because it's too old or anything, I just think IX deserves the extra exposure.

    Wish I wasn't working from home so I had an excuse to get these figures to fill up shelf space in my office at work. I grabbed Zidane and Garnet when they came out, but these two are who I really want. Love the FFIX cast.
