Anyone want to understand the failings of money bail? Look no further: strong evidence of a white shooter motivated by racial bias committing a double murder with an assault rifle. Wrong he was assaulted in every single case, multiple persons can be heard on video calling for his death, and one of his attackers even tried to execute him with a hand gun. Case one he was physically assaulted, case two he was assaulted with a skate board, case 3 execution

The man who tried to "execute him" was legally carrying that gun. Rittenhouse had already shot 2 other people. Why is it that he isn't seen as defending himself? He never shot his gun. 1/2

Kyle wasn't assaulted until he shot someone. He shot someone because a homeless man threw a plastic bag with underwear, deodorant, and a half empty water bottle in his general direction. Rittenhouse shouldn't be posing as security if he can't discern what a real threat is

Important context you might have inadvertently omitted: at the moment the bag was thrown, Rittenhouse was running away from a mob that was chasing and threatening him. And before he fired any shots, someone fired a gun behind him and his first attacker tried to grab his rifle.

I have multiple convos going on about this. The shot I know will play a role. How grabbing the gun is viewed depends. Since he is dead he can't testify but if he had been threatened to be shot he may have been, as has been reported, trying to disarm him.

Rosenbaum's motivation/reasonableness will be irrelevant to determining Rittenhouse's reasonableness. Rittenhouse a) was acting lawfully, b) was chased by a threatening mob, c) heard gunshot, d) was cornered, e) had someone reach for his rifle. Reasonable fear. Self-defense.

He wasn't acting lawfully though. He is being charged with unlawful possession of a dangerous firearm under 18 and he (all of them) were breaking curfew.

And if he had threatened Rosenbaum prior to being chased then that does matter. Again the videos seen on YouTube are not the entire story. I have read multiple analysis by lawyers and legal scholars. I have a background in juvenile justice and justice studies.

So, there is evidence that Rittenhouse threatened Rosenbaum before the mob started chasing Rittenhouse? If so, that's news to me. The only information I've seen is that the crowd was upset b/c they mistook Rittenhouse for someone who extinguished their literal dumpster fire.
