I'm a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment & I've been featured on the NRA magazine cover twice. I was the rare & possibly the only major city police chief that took the position that law-abiding citizens who are armed can & do have an impact on reducing violent crime.

one additional item i know you will do a much better job than the current administration is administering our Prison system. There are SERIOUS SHORTAGES and DANGEROUSLY low staffing across our correctional facilities. This is something that needs your expertise and leadership!!
