i read /a lot/ of fascist rhetoric and chats and it’s basically young white guys urging other young white guys to “accelerate” the “revolution” until one snaps and does it. all day they talk about kikes and n—-s and gays, straining themselves to snap, hoping it’s someone else
it’s not even a problem of “accidentally” getting radicalized, it’s being bullyboys because it feels good, saying cruel things because it feels good, making a wound of everything they dislike and turning the world into a fistful of salt
and youtube is full of woundmakers and salt-scatterers, who turn the mildest of resentments into evidence of civilizational degeneracy and grounds for revolution. greasers of the slippery slope. wormtongues of whiteness. the plausible deniability platoon.
what it leads to is smaller places, built for the seething to overboil. but it seems awfully rank in there. it’s a politic of joy in pain, and pain from the joy of others. it’s ugliness without respite, plato’s cave where hate casts the shadows, and hate reads their meaning.
