    The Landmarks Commission votes to adopt a preliminary designation for the Halsted-Willow Group of buildings located at the intersection of Halsted and Willow in . Built in the 1880s, the buildings are handsomely designed in the Italianate and Queen Anne styles.

    The Landmarks Commission votes to adopt a preliminary designation for The Miracle House, 2001 N. Nordica Ave. in the neighborhood. The stunning mid-century modern home was constructed at Nordica and Armitage in 1954 as the winning prize for a nearby church raffle.
