My talk on what we are doing at with AI and storytelling is up. Feedback is welcome and we are hiring.

  2. The other odd point and hard to deal with in games in general but are all drug crimes now an instant death sentence? I think it is how they chose to move spiderman into a light hearted teen - my death count is staggeringly high for that lightheartedness. Still fun...

  5. So it begins. Trump will openly interfere with an active investigation that has already resulted in convictions of his inner circle. This is a desperate move by a cornered rat and the will now decide if they are traitors or not. I’m betting on traitors...

  6. I love when a series like Just Cause embraces who they are and run with it. Like the Saints Row series and how it grew into a crazy pile of fun.

  8. Back home, I finally started up Spiderman last night - a ton of fun and absolutely love the web flinging travel but one of my goals is to restore a surveillance state? Really? Sigh. I'll do it, but I'll feel bad doing it.

  10. For some roles it is easy because the problems you can get into are constrained so the risk of betting on someone junior is easier but for big problem spaces, you need to prove yourself first. So make things, make things with other people, demonstrate why someone should hire you.

  11. How do I get experience if I need experience for the job? I understand this frustration but remember everyone currently in the industry has found a way around this problem. So you need to prove yourself outside of your resume. Ship things, mods, small games, anything. 1/2

  12. How can you look at a senior official of our government posting false memes like a 13 year old boy and not think - is all decorum lost? Forever? Is this the new normal?

You guys, I'm starting to get the impression that no matter when/who/how we tell our stories, it's never going to be the "right" way and that the only way to do it "right" is to shut up and never say anything. Am I on to something? 🤔

  14. This really is how VR needs to be in the arcades - something you can't have at home, something you need to go play - which you really need to as this is pretty damn fun.

She's an exceptionally good lawyer. She also defended Philip Morris over cigarettes causing cancer, Pfizer over hormone therapy causing breast cancer, the MLB over antitrust, and the NFL over head injuries, so she has experience representing people who are totally guilty.

Probably the grandest miscalculation that the Republican Party has made is in thinking that they are unaccountable to public opinion. They were wrong on the Affordable Care Act, and they’re sure as hell wrong on this. Keep going: 202-224-3121 ☎️☠️

Remember that time the GOP defended a child molester who was also running for Senate? That's who they are. The party of powerful white men who believe they should have the right to do whatever they want to anyone they want without consequence. Kavanaugh fits right in.
