A lot of things happened this past week. Legislation was signed. Scores of criminal cases were filed. We expanded our fight against ghost gun manufacturers.

There are failures at all levels in our systems. These are not new problems – they are age old. Loved ones are lost. Families suffer. Communities grieve.

There are no quick fixes. But I do know that we can’t find the answers if we don’t first listen to survivors, take in their stories, and offer to shoulder their pain.

Even in his platitudes all the progressive buzz words, “listening” “ shouldering your pain” he can’t help sounding like what he is: a Progressive who just can’t say it in plain English: we build jails for a reason because the truth is….sone people have to be locked up
