Wait a minute. She was a restorative justice facilitator at San Q. and married one of the inmates in the program??? This story needs to be in Psychology Today and not on Medium. Apparently the SF Public Defender's Office is light on ethics training.

Your friend misleads us.She claims her husband couldn’t have anticipated someone would be shot;didn’t witness Vasquez shoot the 33yo deputy;& had never been physically violent. She leaves out he kidnapped 30 people at gunpoint & saw Vasquez shoot his gun in front of the hostages.+pic.twitter.com/6RKruDg5Bb

+There‘s no doubt we need a comprehensive reform of the criminal justice system. But what point are you trying to make by posting this incomplete story? And I‘d like you,if not she,to have acknowledged her husband’s choices created a widow & left an 18-month-old child fatherless.pic.twitter.com/G5AFny5sIc

No way, if you're robbing someone and one of you has a gun, why wouldn't you automatically assume that someone's getting killed? Even if he didn't pull the trigger, he is not blameless.
