So sorry to hear that. Very frustrating to have packages stolen especially when we are all facing unusual challenges and getting basic supplies. I promise if the police catch the person that did it we will hold them accountable.
To take auto-burglaries, as one example - in 2019 the DA office filed criminal charges in more than 84% of the cases where police made an arrest. But these are crimes of opportunity and very difficult for police to make arrests - only ~2% of reports result in an arrest.

Chesa is emptying the jails and is only loyal to criminals. Getting everything you work hard for stolen from right under your nose is the new norm in SF. Why would police do anything when criminals have all the rights. Nothing is going to happen to them.
