Any room for PhDs with law degrees and a CA bar license (inac tive at this time) that are dedicated to social justice because I (we) have similar experiences as you but would like to use state resources to actually help fellow brothers and sisters that are marginalized
Like so many children with incarcerated parents, I struggled with guilt, anger, & shame. I fell behind in school and had behavioral issues. We need to end the cycle of incarceration that separates families, hurts kids & communities, and makes us all less safe.

As a mother I’ve learned when one of my kids hits the other kid, the best thing to do is first help the hurt child. Give them the attention. Then, after, deal with the instigator. Our criminal justice system isn’t incentivized to help victims of crimes & incarceration.
