Chesa Boudin must make a commitment to focus on property crimes in SF. I'm 100% for doing the right thing & elevating people out of homelessness, but we can only help those that want to be helped. Ppl cannot continue to commit crimes that go unpunished.
I’ve reviewed this & it doesn’t do enough. It makes an assumption (where is the data?) that most of these crimes are driven by theft rings when in reality they are disconnected. We should prosecute ind. crimes esp. repeat offenders. Otherwise it’s a free pass for more break-ins.
