Might I suggest clarifying that in the video? You start by saying the US leads the world in imprisonment. Next you talk about visiting your parents in prison, which taught you hard lessons about the system. The very next thing you say is: "It's a system of mass incarceration."

the point is I have a lifetime of experience interacting with the criminal justice system and seeing what works and what doesn't work. No other candidate has that experience. It's not about what my parents did or what their sentences were.
