Looks complicated but isn’t...really. Content owners and creators want to own portions of companies who derive equity value from the raw material of music. Incentives are more aligned. DSPs make strategic investments with DSPs in territories that are tricky to enter.

right, where it starts to flip though is when the DSPs want stakes in the content owners (i.e. Tencent Music -> Universal)
