Well, in EU we called the Pompeo pressure exactly what it is: an attempt to pressure EU into a specific path. What China is doing now to Sweden is more or less the same. Actually it's not really uncommon and to be honest I'm not convinced EU policy is influenced either way.
When Mike Pompe/Pence threatened Europe to ban Huawei or stop partnering with Europe, no China haters called it “coercion”. But when China warned about adverse impact on Swedish firms in China after Sweden decided to ban Huawei, they said China is making threat. No logic.
