Whilst you’re busy working out where the sellotape starts I thought I’d give a sneak squeeze of the package I will have waiting for you all tomorrow free ⁩ this is in thanks for the amazing support you’ve given me in 2022. Any ideas of what the name of it will be?

What’s your pre Xmas hermit highlight. Mine is wrapping presents in my shed listening to really loud mental 20th century orchestral music. Whilst drinking. I leave the books til last.

Just watching an interview with Mick Jagger circa 1971 and have realised that Michael McKeen's excellent portrayal of Snt Hubbins in TIST is an absolute carbon copy masterful impersonation of Jagger. Intonation, rhythm, the way Mick ends every word, quite extraordinary.

Ahoy hoy, synth loving types! My friend has released a really cool new soundset for Pigments 4. It's like having an ARP Odyssey, Pro One, DX7, Emulator II and Jupiter 8 all in one collection. Nice.

Just in time for Pigments 4 I am pleased to announce the release of Photon, a soundbank for Arturia Pigments inspired by synth-heavy '80s film scores. 25% off until Jan 15. oblivionsoundlab.com/product/photon/

@chensonmusic Hi Christian. Wasn’t sure how to contact you but I wanted to let you know for numbers that I got myself a ticket through Eventbrite for the Edinburgh Composer walk but I’m sorry I can’t go now. Gutted… really hoped to make it as I missed the previous ones!

Ok a bit Xmas themed this one (not that your answers have to be) “good songs with bad basslines”. My starter for ten is Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses. That player needs to ease off the coffee and hit some mulled wine. What’s your top tune with a crap bassline?
