    After it was reported that Liz Truss likes to write ‘TL/DR’ on official memos, I said in response ‘You can’t TL/DR trade deals’. Nor can you just cut and paste old EU deals and hope they suit the UK’s bespoke needs. This freeports fiasco shows exactly why.
