Megyn Kelly is a perfect example of the irony of institutionalized racism and sexism. She was a victim of nasty public sexism by trump and she is also the perveyor of the casual racism that infuses American culture. Those who have never suffered at its hands often do not see it.

Well said & ever so true. By coincidence, I saw this yesterday. More important than ever now as with even what’s best said & done in the last 48 hrs, we need solidarity & I hope all true Americans will support on the day & forever.pic.twitter.com/3KYZxnhh0k

Well ya remember a few years back on Fox News she said "kids don't worry Santa is white" I'm sensing a pattern with Megyn Kelly. She got rightfully mocked for that comment on the Daily Show
-
I hated that comment by her, particularly because REAL St. Nicholas was brown!!!https://goo.gl/images/6nb3pc

He was Greek. Interesting the pictures you chose because just as many, if not more, images depict him as white. The truth is neither as he was Greek. However the Dutch "Santa" based on him, is white. It is what it is.
-
He was born in what is now Southern (coastal) Turkey. Although he was culturally Hellenistic / Roman, I feel confident he looked nothing like Coca-Cola Santa.
-
Maybe not, but he also didn't ride a sleigh around the Earth delivering presents.

NBC got bamboozled, hoodwinked and led astray by Megyn Kelly, 70 million dollar wasted on her contract.
-
No they didn't, they got exactly what they wanted.

It’s always the same. If you give a racist a platform it’s only a matter of time before they show us who they REALLY are!

Please
@NBCNews get Megyn Kelly off your network! I've seen old footage of her on Fox & it's not cute! When someone shows you who they are, believe her! - 1 more reply

I think in some cases on Halloween you can. I can’t dress up as Whoopi’s Goldberg or Bob Marley? That’s not hurting anyone. We can’t lose our sense of whimsy, creativity & humor about all things having to do with the color of our skin, especially at Halloween!
-
You can still do that without the demeaning blackface.
-
I don’t find anything demeaning about dressing up as Whoopi or Bob Marley for Halloween. If anything I’m revering them. In fact I would bet my life Whoopi’s would find it funny. No malice behind my comments. I can’t speak for Megan Kelly.
-
Nothing demeaning about dressing up as them, but blackface? With its history? No way, totally demeaning.
