Wouldn’t it be great if HS had Arena tournaments?

HearthstoneOpen actually hosted an Arena tournament. If i remember, they created an arena picking tool so you build your deck there and then play vs other players who made arena decks. Still can't play more than 2 copies of a card, but was fun.
Second this, I think they also made it so that if you didn't have a card you drafted, you could play wisps/ angry chickens instead
