As a gen Z, I can confirm that I’ve only heard of about half of these songs. Was pulling for Somebody that I Used to Know to win as the only one hit wonder that I’ve been around to actively hear on the pop radio.

It definitely skewed Millennial. There was only one song I had never heard before - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm. And honestly I thought it sounded terrible, couldn't understand why it was in the bracket.

That song was on MTV like every 15 mins when it came out. It was totally justified.
