    Will let others play once write up is complete. I believe this would allow rejailbreaking at boot, haven't played around much with it yet on 11.3.1. Appears to still be vulnerable on 12 beta (Only compared binaries, not tested)

    I see a lot of misleading posts.. You don't need to restore because of Houdini. All b3/b3r1 do is modifying files that are automatically replaced by iOS if corrupted (except screen resolution). You can always revert back to stock iOS in Houdini.

    Just to be clear, the exploit used in the screenshot is not very powerful. It allows Houdini to write anything outside the sandbox but not read.

    One of my goals this year was to get a CVE. It was more of a personal goal to prove to myself that I can do it and help making people's devices more secure. I ended up with 8 CVEs in less than a year! You can always achieve a goal even if it's small if you work hard enough.

    In iOS 10, you can literally defeat KASLR by locking and unlocking a device. AppleChestnutDisplayPMU leaks a kernel pointer and you can simply see it in syslog. thanks for helping me confirm this :)
