    So how will you boot third-party operating systems on arm64 Macs? You might have seen that pongoOS has been getting a ton of work in the recent past, and even more is coming. This work will allow us to support pongoOS as a second-stage bootloader for Apple Silicon-based Macs.

    Additionally we added a checkbox to disable BPR checks on A11. This is not recommended and your device won’t boot with a passcode, but it’s there.

    This is big! for iOS 14 😍 If you have an A11 device (iPhone 8 or X), and you want to keep using checkra1n with SEP features like Touch ID, Face ID, or Apple Pay, downgrade to iOS 13.7 now. Apple is still signing it. There is no ETA for A11.

    Thanks to the amazing work done by ’s team it is now possible to run Android on iPhone natively on the just released 0.9.8.1. Go try it out!!

    More details on pongoOS will be made available soon. Also in this build is a whole new CLI, built with ncurses. Other minor updates include iOS 13.3.1 support and loader no longer requiring the internet to load.

    We’re also today releasing webra1n, a web interface for checkra1n designed for headless computers (like a raspberry pi) checkra1n 0.9.8 also introduces our brand new operating system, pongoOS for the very first time, which is now used to perform low level patches.

    0.9.7 is also the first version that can successfully jailbreak the 4K fully without needing special patches. It’s a little rough around the edges (the -20 known issue) but it works well 😁
