I was somewhat forced to fix my code in SingleFile (https://github.com/gildas-lormeau/SingleFile …) to support them (i.e. serialize them) and I was not very pleased to be, once again, confronted to a serialization issue related to web components...

I think I have a better idea now. What would be the ideal use case for you extension there? Seems like making content harder to scape whole hog might be good? Also, what do you do with styles built with things like Emotion or Styled Components?

I would like that innerHTML or something similar serialize them for me. Thus they would be intact. Today, I retrieve them via CSSOM which removes for example vendor prefixed keywords.

The Constructible Style sheet spec is still in development. If you really think that would be a good addition to the feature, you should get your voice in the conversation here: https://github.com/WICG/construct-stylesheets/issues/ … The more points of view included in the conversation the better!

Thanks for the info! I'll try to contribute in a constructive way, even if I think my problem is perhaps more fundamental: stylesheets cannot be read intact with CSSOM.
