I’m not one of those! I think it’s clearly hurt the show to ignore Kara’s love life, and don’t mind saying so. That said, I do PREFER her alone because I have zero interest in seeing her with a new LI! And I think trying to go that way now with someone new won’t help a bit.

I know you're not in that category but you really think her story would be better told if she never finds love again (your scenario of her going to find Mon-El in the future isn't an option)?

Truthfully? They sold me on Karamel and, being hopelessly romantical, I am all about the One True Love trope!
So anyone other than Mon-El would be SO disappointing. It would seem like Kara is just settling. And to me, that seems sadder than being alone. But that’s just me!

Interesting take. I am sure that they'd write Kara to love the person with all her heart but of course, the audience might not buy it.

I’m sure they’d try to sell the love story, but good luck with that. Burn me once, shame on them; burn me twice, shame on me! That’s all I’m saying.pic.twitter.com/WW5kxVM2PX

More like burn you thrice.
Even if you weren't on the Karolsen train, this will be their third attempt at selling a major love interest.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

I stopped watching halfway through S1 because I was so disgusted with Karolsen (among other things), so they didn’t ever actually fool me with that mess. So I thinks it’s safe to stick with “fool me twice.”

For me the crappy love triangle in S1 pales in comparison to the married nonsense in S3. It wasn't fun but at least it ended and I was glad I wouldn't have to deal with that BS in S2. Then they straight murdered the ship. Lol.

As a person with a history of obsessing over a person and then completely losing interest once they actually showed interest BACK (I had some serious commitment issues, okay?!
), I totally understood Kara thinking they were better as friends. I’ve literally HAD that talk.1 reply 1 retweet 1 like -

Lol. That's one way to rationalize it but Kara was totally into him in the finale and could easily have stayed that way.

I’m not rationalizing. I was totally into my crushes RIGHT up until things got real and they were crushing back. Then it was JK LOL let’s just be friends mmkay?! I COULD have started relationships, but I pushed people away. (Until the right one came along and didn’t let me.

Look at us, having a civil discussion even though we disagree with each other! That’s POSSIBLE?! Who knew?!

Chassy, I am actually afraid about KarOlsen2.0 because they’re already making DanSen, what if they revive KarOlsen again?
