Thank you so much
@Chas10Buttigieg! As a Jewish American, I was always so comfortable being able to express my faith. Lately, I fear going to temple because I don’t know if I will be shot. I walk into temple planning my escape route. I’m so angry this is what it is now. -
I am so sorry. Our country has failed its citizens when we can't even keep schools and places of worship safe.

First Gentleman.

-
It's no different than if a woman were elected POTUS... the name would b the same for the husband...
-
It would be First Lord, actually. The grammatically correct gender opposite of "Lady" when used as a title or part of one (as in "First Lady") is always "Lord," not "Gentleman,""Spouse," or "Husband."
-
But will they use that term n the US..
-
Doesn't matter. That's still the correct term both grammatically and historically, and I really don't see what's so difficult to grasp about the concept. So it's the hill I'm going to die on. You can stop me only after you've pried my grammar book out of my cold, dead hands.

"....a kinder, more peaceful future, met with action and legislation." Make no mistake, while this is not possible with the current Congress, this is indeed part of Pete's plan for 2021. It relies on Democratic Reforms & on all of us making our voices heard in the 2020 Primary.
-
Really hoping Chasten gets the VP nomination.
-
I think Pete would be wise to pick kamela or vice versa
-
Kamala would not go over well in conservative areas... The whole sanctuary cities thing and all. Plus, the whole SCOTUS battles thing... She is a coastal pick, would be divisive for many and I think cancel out the goodwill he'd be trying to welcome and usher into ballot boxes.
-
I’m in California, I agree. I think conservative people will hold it against her simply for being from California. When I visit family in the Ozarks it’s clear they have a warped perception of us. So I counter back with crap like “is this roadkill squirrel for dinner again?”
-
LoL. I have voted for Kamala in every election she's been on my ballot. This is a different matter. Stacey is very much an "on the ground" leader, and that's Pete's point. Government should work from the ground up, not from the top down. Local. The Senate is not "on the ground."
-
Which also lets Elizabeth Warren out as a VP pick, although I think she'd be Pete's best bet for a VP pic. She has the tenacity and the muscle to knock a few heads together in the Senate (where she'd automatically preside as VP). She'd also make a great advisor to Pete.
-
At the same time, we would need her in the Senate. The qualities you describe are very important there. Pete will choose advisors extremely wisely. I expect that half (or more) would be women. That all said, Liz is probably my #2 pick at this point, in terms of the primary.
