      I remember writing "1st episode of wheezing", "2nd episode of wheezing", etc to avoid writing "asthma" in a kid's chart in the hopes that we might avoid a pre-existing condition dx. We CANNOT go backwards on this. Thank you for running to fight agaisnt this @DrChristineMann !

      I did volunteer patient advocacy in late 90s & early 00s. Insurers' applications would ask about all conditions a person had ever seen a dr about, & then could kick a person off their plan when a person had a new diagnosis that might relate to an earlier long-forgotten dr visit.
