Have smaller populations than the city of Los Angeles
43/50 states.
Abolishing the Electoral College like @SenWarren advocates for would mean LA would have more power than 43 states

That's the argument: due to the fact that it has a larger population, it should.

People who live in other states have different issues, and don't live the same way that people in NY do. Pure democracy is just mob rule and eventually collapses on itself.

Not going to happen. My concern is these states that are changing their laws to give all their delegate votes to whoever wins the popular vote. It would be funny if Trump won the popular vote in 2020. Pandamonium.
