  3. I want a show about a captain who *does* believe in the no-win situation. Any time the ship hits even a minor snag, the captain's like "oh well, can't win this one," while the crew are all like "WAIT WHAT? IT'S JUST A REPLICATOR GLITCH."

I'm loving 's Victories Greater Than Death so much. Reading slowly because I don't want it to be over. Also finishing up A Touch of Jen which is crazy weird and brain-melting in the best possible way.

How do we talk about (and do we celebrate?) Harry Potter now? This episode is brilliant.

This is such a great podcast ep by ⁦⁩ and ⁦⁩ on separating Harry Potter fandom from JK Rowling, and how we need radically new fantasy stories that break down entrenched paradigms

How can someone writing about trans kids not know that medical transition almost always lags social transition by several years? This is the same transmisogynist who thinks late-blooming trans women shouldn’t have opinions since we were dirty cis men all those years.

  14. Also... If you skipped all or part of season one, last night's episode does a really good job of filling in the backstory and serves as a good jumping on point.

  15. I liked season one, but yesterday's season opener felt like a show with a whole new lease on life. Already a huge fan of Ryan Wilder!
