Do you need shorthand to get a job?

If you want to work in local papers its really really helpful. But I know some fantastic newspaper journalists who don't have it, and in broadcast journalism the majority don't have it.

Tell them they need to always bring snacks on whatever job they are doing and that a Macdonalds breakfast before a day of shooting is highly recommended

Get a driving licence and keep it clean. Actually learn media law, not just cram to pass the exams. If you want to work in broadcast start developing your voice now.

Yes my good suggestion is that in the future they should interview ppl with a learning disability so we see more positive portrayals of us in the media!
