Can someone provide context? Are these lines because the CDC is checking passengers for a sign of the virus? If so are you arguing that they shouldn't be checking inbound passengers? Certainly, they should be better staffed, but are you really arguing against screening them?

It's because lots of Americans are returning from Europe, panicked because of Trump's ban (which doesn't affect Americans but people want to come home when they can). That and the fact that the airports weren't prepared to test this influx of people.
