They have gamed it hundreds of times & each time the invasion was a disaster for the Nazis. The Royal Navy was to strong & would have closed the channel, even with total air superiority. Even Hitler accepted invasion was never really possible.

A more interesting question. They have run simulations of the battle of Midway hundreds of times & the US has never caught the Japanese planes on the deck rearming as happened. What if US had lost its carriers in that battle.

It was never on the ropes. I 'd recommend the article from the Cambridge History of 2nd World War on Battle of Britain. Or Overy' s Battle of Britain - Myth & Reality. Both are short and point.

If he had kept pounding bomber command and the southern radar he would have had control of the skies. Seelöwn still wouldn’t have been possible but the UK would have sued for peace once the Lüftwaffe was bombing cities 24x7

In that world, when & where do we get the equivalent of the Frisch–Peierls memorandum?

Nothing. They didn't have the specialized ships or the experience required for an amphibious landing en masse, even if they could've beaten the RAF in the air - which they likely couldn't have.
