There was no controversy at IU (that I am aware of) about the $6,771.39 for the 29 IU police officers allowing you to speak. There were officers from other departments so the cost was higher but nobody complained here.

Indiana was great. But remember that I was already booked to speak at Indiana before l'affaire Middlebury & hence before Indiana knew that I'd need security. Now universities know going in that me speaking means both big bucks for security plus campus controversy. Who needs it?
