To be fair, you didn't give a hell lot of references on that page.

There’s an italicized summary at the beginning of each chapter. No refs in summaries.

Fair enough! And good writing style! : )

IQ isn't science.
-
Did you notice yet, that saying it isn't science does not mean is becomes not science?
-
IQ tests aren't construct valid. They're not a valid scientific instrument. That is, they don't test what they purport to. Even a little bit.
-
Would love to find a better sociological predictor, but I bet we will be looking for a while
-
It "predicts" due to test construction. IQ tests and achievement tests are different versions of the same test.
-
Why does IQ correlate so well to other sociological metrics? Health outcomes, wealth level, etc..
-
Test construction. Excising items that don't fit what the constructors want. So it necessarily correlates with social class. IQ test scores are, in actuality, middle class knowledge scores.
-
You make no sense. IQ data is the strongest data set that exists, across all societies. It is nothing to do with “the middle class” - typical American naval gazing.

It’s hard to understand why you copped so much heat over it (and even before social media and our 140 character attention span). You both were done a major disservice.
-
Maybe because to talk about cognitive ability between racial groups and leave out the 500yr negative impact from
#whitesupremacy on black people is suspected#whitesupremacist behavior.

-
-
Where does that mention
#WhiteSupremacy -
Exactly.
-
Apartheid, Jim Crow, convict leases, etc etc.. blacks killed for reading, imprisoned for practicing their own religions, the Berlin conference etc.. no black hired til every white man has a job... this is verifiable period of who the PRIMARY target of
#whitesupremacy is sir. -
LOL, You need to get out more. Bubble that is.
-
None of those verifiable behaviors negatively affect black life outcomes? I want an intellectual response to my valid question… This is the high IQ thread...

I recommend people actually <gasp> read the book for a number of years now. It makes a big difference if you read it. Alas, few will take my advice. Demagoguery is more fun.
