📅 Thierry Henry scored his 200th Arsenal goal on this day in 2006 🙌

  2. “You never had the feeling that any player was thinking about another club or wanted to leave.” Bernd Leno on what it was like at training during the January transfer window and Arsenal’s need for goals 👇

  3. Lack of goals a real killer for Arsenal now. Tightening things up defensively was always Arteta’s priority when he arrived, he’s done that. Shape & structure much improved, finding goals now key. Time to move Auba central, with Martinelli and Pepe wide? Give Ceballos a go behind?

  4. Crazy to think Arsenal have won only six league games this season and that two of those came in the opening fortnight. Only Watford and Norwich have won less. But then, they have only lost six times - only Liverpool have lost fewer. 13 draws and we’ve just hit Feb. Bonkers!

  5. Jenas saying 'it was a dominant display from Burnley' on MOTD2. I know Arsenal weren't great, but that is just not the case. It was a very even game which either side could easily have won.

  6. Closing thoughts from Turf Moor after draw number 13 in the league for Arsenal 👇

  7. Arteta: "The conditions were difficult the grass was long. They didn't put any water on it and that's not very helpful to play football. I didn't water the pitch yesterday in the training ground so was expecting it. That doesn't make it easier to play."

  8. Arteta: "I was very disappointed with how we started the second half. The positive thing is the reaction in the last 20 minutes when we started to play again. The space was there because they were committing people forward but we couldn't finish well enough to score."

  9. Arteta: "We started really well, we could have scored at least two. But after 20-25 minutes, we started to concede a lot of unnecessary free kicks, throw ins, corner kicks and when that happens you can't find any continuity in your play and that's not the game we want to play."

  10. Another away game in the league without a goal for Lacazette - He's now gone 358 days since scoring at Huddersfield. Thoughts from Turf Moor on yet another draw for Arsenal and the big decision that Arteta faces after the mid-season break 👇

  12. Nketiah on for the final stages, Lacazette off.

  13. How on earth has that not gone in? Rodriguez somehow hits the bar from point blank range. Massive let off for Arsenal.

  14. So close! Aubameyang heads just wide from Lacazette's cross.

  15. Arsenal sub: Ozil off, Willock on.

  16. Burnley inches away from the opener. It's beginning to feel like a matter of time before it arrives. Arteta needs to change something. Arsenal have been really poor since half-time.

  17. Looks like a flat back four still, Xhaka on the left.

  18. Could be a back three now actually. Will see shortly.

  19. Torreira on for Saka. Xhaka at left-back.

  20. The injury Saka has picked up has made a big difference to Arsenal. He was the main threat in the early stages, Burnley looking much more comfortable since he's basically had to stop attacking. Lacazette's continued struggles are not helping. Arteta must be thinking about Pepe.
