the government enforcing monogamy would be bad because the government could be taken over and the enforcement could be changed. what's desired is grassroots enforcement, treatment of those who don't behave properly as scum

well, historically the government has enforced monogamy, and don't tell me that monogamy means government mandated gf, because we both know that's not what it's meant historically. That's just a twitter meme.

i've said what it means like six times now it means that the social conditions mean heterosexually pairbond or die

you've repeated posted an equation that appeared to suggest that monogamy meant everyone had to have one partner. and I'm not pairbonded, but I'm not dead yet. I will be eventually, but so will married couples.

right, because we don't live in an enforced monogamy society (though it'll only be women that are forced to have partners of course)

nonsense. We do live in an enforced monogamy society, you can only marry one person by law. That's what it means, and word games from either you or Mr Peterson won't change that.

if we lived in an enforced monogamy society in the way Peterson wants, it would be nonsensical for Peterson to suggest we could change to an enforced monogamy society to solve our problems

I agree, it would! That's why I think he must be suggesting government-mandated-gf if he's suggesting anything. This raises another issue, which is the number of people following alternative lifestyles in this regard is still very few, so they can't be the cause of troubles.

okay, come to it in your own time if you ain't gonna listen i guess you will find that statistically insignificant causes are blamed all out of proportion to their effects when they make people resentful of the power they feel they're supposed to have and don't

but you've not made a convincing argument, and given that I'm seeing utter hysteria over this guy, I want to figure out what he stands for myself. As with the James Delore issue previously a lot of the things attributed to him may be lies.

okeydokey, no fault to be found with that procedure

The only reason I'm really bothering to look into him is he's getting grassroots support, and people are calling for him and his followers to be murdered. This makes me feel I should really know more.
