I've finally gotten around to watching some Jordan Peterson, after seeing someone calling for his 'followers' to be shot. This is an eloquent, rational man, and I've seen a lot of strong evidence that his detractors are a bunch of murderous loons.

When someone as mild as Peterson is considered to be too controversial, we have a broken politics, and most significantly a broken left. Soon we will have a broken society. The result, sooner or later, one way or another, is going to be a reboot back to more traditional society.

on the one hand, he has basic theory of mind about his political opponents and advocates good practices like "first put your house in order" on the other hand, "enforce monogamy", "gee does casual sex necessitate government tyranny" stating these calmly doesn't make them "mild"

i don't need to pitch a fit about him and make up positions he hasn't claimed to demonize him with, but at the end of the day he's a trad and i do need to oppose all his works yea unto salting the fields, that isn't optional

I agree he's a trad, but you said to me a while back that you thought I was crazy for thinking the right was better than the left. Ever since then I've been thinking "well, logically, that point is going to come sooner or later"....

uh... i guess if you take as an article of faith that the left is getting worse faster than the right is and don't actually look at the right, that would follow
