who is this from? i kind of disagree because people like Jason Lee Byas and William Gillis have proposed a strong anti-communist front alongside their anti-capitalist front. Kevin Carson less so, but even so his stance is inessential to what is useful in his books

anti-capitalist discourse is necessarily anti-liberty, since capitalism is nothing more than the emergent properties of free exchange.

i thought "capitalism" meant "whatever i don't like" but like if somebody identifies "capitalism" with private ownership of land and natural resources i can see their anti-capitalist discourse being pro-liberty, dunno that those institutions necessarily follow from free exchange

ohh k. defining capitalism as "the correction to mercantilism where we introduced the concept of value being added rather than just moved around" seems fairly compelling to me but it definitely makes it seems weird that people wanna yell about it so much

Replying to @chaosprime @palecur and
most of the yelling is because we do a shit job of cleaning up our own messes.

interesting that the only thing i do that actually makes me feel intensely virtuous is clean up a mess i made when i could get away with just leaving it
