I really like brutalism and I defend it a lot online (it's good, I swear), but, in many ways, it's a part of my beliefs in a diversity of architectural styles and the way many, many styles can be used to produce good buildings.

I love brutalism, but a world where every building was built in the brutalist style would be boring. Not because brutalism is boring, but because a monotony of style is boring. Any architectural style universalized would have the same effect.

There are styles I don't like, such as the International style, neo-classicism, and post-modernism, but I also think that a world where people weren't allowed to build in those styles and we didn't build off of them would be worse for it.

There's lots of architectural styles I love, such as brutalism, but also including organic architecture and gothic architecture and prairie school architecture. Modernist architecture in general is also something I'm passionate about.

And mixing all of these styles and new, innovative styles, produce more diverse, beautiful buildings which allow for lots of sorts of buildings with lots of uses and great architecture in general.
