i also wish i was asexual because sex and sexual desire is animalistic and demeaning. being a human-being is so embarrassing post-human existence WHEN

i'd hardly know because all my sexual encounters were when high as shit on a combination of drugs it's still animalistic and pleasure and companionship can be sought through other means

i think it's demeaning because i think it's embarrassing to be a decaying biological form, with "instincts" and desires that i didn't consciously, voluntarily choose. if i was to like sex, i want to like sex because i modified my consciousness to have that disposition

not because evolution programmed me to enjoy it or to desire it. nature is an oppressive tyrant and i hate that we all live in such a pathetic state of existence

nature is to be transcended, sure, but it seems bootless to resent it.

i resent it because sexual desire doesn't feel like "my own". if i had the choice, i'd excise it from my nature

happens a lot, as we might imagine it would when our bodies let a fully functioning consciousness arise and then jam a bunch of new drives into it at puberty leads to a lot of problems, like interpreting sexual desire as something being inflicted on one by what one's looking at

i support you doing what you like obviously but i gotta recommend integrating it, our brains fight with themselves enough without encouraging it

i'm wiling to sacrifice my own well-being out of principle here. fuck nature

sure, but you can't actually tear it out, all you can do is dissociate from it which feels like you're tearing it out but is kind of like keeping the door closed on a warm, damp closet because you want to kill the mold cultures inside it; it grows vast and baroque

in lieu of being able to tear it out in a post-human future, i will resent it and disparage it because i think we should do that to do bad things and things we hate

okay! this is also dissociative, but actually slightly less dangerously so than trying to pretend it isn't there. i wish you luck and will not even say i told you so when you find out how this goes
