It's okay to engage in verbal diaspora! The South needs to be known as a net exporter for more than Confederate flags, barbeque opinions, and a-holes, y'all.

I'd concur, it's much more context-sensitive than 'y'all', and my prior statement about multiple groups can also be about inclusive SETS as separate groups.

I feel like it's got a tonal dictate, too, that is, all y'all are in trouble, if you hear that.

It's like the collective First Name-Middle Name-Family Middle Name You Didn't Tell Your Friends About-Last Name of implied menace, in the right circumstance, while managing to dismiss the heterogeneous innocence/guilt of the labeled group. "All y'all can go to hell!"

It's also how you tell a group of people to fuck themselves, i.e. "All y'all can go fuck yourselves" or the more direct "Fuck all y'all"

i'm thinking i like the feel, for particularly egregious offenses, of invoking jointly-and-severally: "fuck y'all and fuck all y'all"
