𝙶𝚂𝚅 𝚂𝚝𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚛 [𝚂𝚑𝚞𝚗𝚗 𝚂𝙼𝙵] added,
i mean, one could easily get a *really* wrong idea from the Chesed and Gevurah without a bunch of context, but still, yeah, pretty great
it's not like Things One Can Easily Get A Really Wrong Idea From Without A Bunch Of Context isn't the name of the game
Sometimes I wonder how the hell I’m the most basic one of my weirdo friend groups.
LETS TALK ABOUT THE THREE VARIATIONS OF THE KANJI FOR EVIL 惡 悪 恶
Uh…
There’s not really THAT much.
The first one is the classics character, the second is the Japanese simplification that saves a stroke, and the last one is the modern simplified one.
The bottom part means “heart” and the top part is a phonetic marker but it means “Asia”.

This is why it’s dangerous to try to infer too much from the ostensibly semantic components of an ideograph.
I can imagine a future emoji based language where
is included for phonetic reasons unrelated to its idiomatic usage.
But in Japanese 亜 doesn’t mean “Asia” it means like “sub-“
