last time i taught a course like this ("biopolitics", which, yeah, is a murky notion, but i was a sessional), Foucault, Preciado, Kember, Sigfried Giedion, Goffman... but mostly "primary sources" (the Gilbreths, Galton, DARPA reports, etc.)
